Zambrero

Came here for dessert as I had seen chill'd had opened a little spot within zambrero. I've been to zambrero before and like the food here. This dessert was lovely, well presented and tasted amazing, staff were super friendly too which is always nice. Came here with friends and we all ordered different things. Great spot to go for a dessert or a nice coffee.

I always really enjoy my food there. Can't understand why it's so underrated Edit: Since I posted this, they've put their prices up significantly. At this stage there's really no reason to go to zambrero over Ramen next door

Had a delicious Chicken Burrito that cost just €6, available as a special offer on Mondays. Added Guacamole for €1 extra. The meat was tender & tortilla nice and warm. The veggie ingredients tasted really fresh. Just the right portion too. A separate coffee counter serves barista coffee, but you can pay for food & coffee while getting your burrito. Nice setting too, modern with wheelchair accessible bathroom. Will be back!

Went in for a quick bite on a Friday evening. Ramen next door was packed but we wanted a Mexican. Came up to the door and lights were on but couldn't see any people inside inc staff. Popped in and ordered a burrito and a bowl. Small portion of beans, meat and even rice. Wouldn't really describe as Mexican but healthy food. Expensive for what it is. Better Mexicans restaurants in Cork.

Excellent, tasty and healthy food and fast, friendly service, whether you're eating in the restaurant or taking away. Great for vegans and vegetarians also, plus helping a great cause. Prices are very reasonable and also include a donation of a meal equivalent to someone in need in developing countries, in Central and South America. Fresh juices and hot drinks offered at the separate drinks counter. Usually good music playing.

Beef and lamb both on point, would love to see more about the origin of the meat, nice layout and decor. Decent coffee. Love the meals donated ticker on the wall.

Have to say I was quite impressed with both the burrito & a bowl that I ordered last Saturday & Sunday. All the ingredients looked & tasted fresh including their daily made guacamole. Both times I arrived late afternoon so can’t say what it’s like during busy times. But all my visits the place was clean and staff extremely helpful & friendly. Thank you Zambrero for bringing delicious Mexican and adding the feeding the hungry initiative!
