Tani Naas, Japanese Restaurant and Bar

I met few friends in this restaurant. We all were very happy with the food and service. Nearly all of us had a suchi and it was really good, can't be better 👌

Myself and my husband went for dinner in Tani a couple of weeks ago. The service was really good and quick. The atmosphere was lovely and relaxed. We both got a starter, main and shared a dessert. My husband had veg tempura & chefs Sushi lover plate. He really enjoyed everything. He commented on how fresh everything was. I got Ebi Katsu (prawns in breadcrumbs) and the dipping sauce was amazing. For main I got beef Cha Han- it is a dish I would be happy to eat every week. The dessert was very tasty too. We will return.

First time visit to Tani was a very pleasant experience. Service was good. Food was very tasty and a great selection. We will be back.

Overall we had an excellent dinning experience in Tani. I ordered the Edamame beans as a starter and the salmon and avocado roll as a main- would highly recommend. Both were absolutely delicious, tasted so fresh. The service was very quick and our water jugs were constantly topped up when needs be. Parking just outside so very convenient. The service was very friendly and when we finished our meal we didn't feel rushed at all. Thoroughly enjoyed it

I love Japanese food and the door here is the best I've had. My husband and I go back often and we wouldn't have thought that a small Japanese restaurant in Naas could be this amazing, but it is! The avocado cheese roll is one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten. We have also tried the noodle dishes and the ramen dishes as well as a number of starters and everything is just so good. Would recommend 100%. I see some other reviews here saying the service isn't great, but we have always found it great.

Our first time to experience Japanese food and we were very well impressed! Nice service, beautifully explained..food was very tasty and fresh , tried a bit of everything and shared between us ! Great beer and sake 😉! Highly recommended’

The minute you enter Tani you know you're in for a treat. The staff are wonderfully welcoming, and the interior is simple, elegant and cozy. The menu has a very nice variety of Japanese classics. I had the seafood bento box and it was extremely tasty! Very generous portion, cooked fresh, fantastic value for money. The hot sake was also excellent. Chocolate mousse was alright, but didn't fully fit the vibe of Tani. Perhaps that's just the lunchtime dessert options, only the ice creams had Japanese flavours. Definitely a hidden gem of superior quality and hospitality!

3rd time to come with teenagers. Great mix of food, sushi,tempura, noddles etc. to keep everyone happy. Japanese beer on tap is added bonus 🤗

Tasty, interesting and good value lunch. I've been to Tani a few times for dinner but their lunch offering is great. I had the Bento Box special. Much better than your 'hang' sandwich :-)

Had food here last month, I have eaten at Tani in Terenure several times but must say I found this one far better, the service was excellent and the sushi as absolutely delicious, so fresh and flavorful! Will definitely be back and would highly recommend. Thanks Tani.

had dinner with 4 friends recently - not my first visit but their first time. food was delicious, so fresh and tasty. staff were friendly from booking to service. really enjoyed it and everyone will be back. good food and friendly staff - what more could you want?

This place we can never get enough of. The food is out of this world. So fresh, tasty and authentic. Do not leave Tani without trying the Carrot Cake!!!! It is worth a trip for it alone. I'm one of the national judges for the Chefs in Ireland, and it is without doubt the best I have ever eaten. Its up there with the Gyoza they serve, the Crispy Duck, and the Binto boxes. Every dish is worth a trip. Highly, highly recommend, I'd give it more than 5 stars if I could.
