Everetts Restaurant

During Covid restrictions Everetts offers a night off from cooking. It was beautiful and lifted us all from having to eat my mothers cooking. I'd add pictures but it was all gone too quickly.

Fantastic restaurant. High end food but competitive prices. I had scallops which were cooked perfectly, lamb which was so tender and tasty, the bread at the start was beautiful, and a fabulous salted caramel desert. Every dish to the table of 8 looked excellent, ingredients fresh and good quality. Highly recommend this place for good food. Only fault, when finished each course it took a while to clear plates despite having plenty of staff. If that's a feature not to rush people then fair enough.

Incredible food, service and setting! This is probably the best meal I've ever had in Waterford. Everything was really special with great attention to detail. We were greeted warmly by the hostess and the service was perfect all night. I had the crab starter that was creamy, delicate and fresh, and perfectly balanced with the bright gazpacho, with the cucumber really jumping out. The chicken main was moist and perfectly cooked, with a wonderful mushroom sauce, and local veg. And the dessert was the perfect size, with an incredibly light elderflower sorbet, that really stood out. Portion sizes were great. We were all not left wanting more but equally not overly full. Wonderful atmosphere. Professional, and refined, yet still very relaxed, and lively. Highly recommended!

My leak had a knot in it.. I'm not sure why but it made me smile. Knots aside the food was brilliant we both enjoyed everything that was served. Service was excellent as well, staff were helpful, knowledgeable and happy to talk about where the food was sourced from. I ordered my food gluten free which was checked with the kitchen and altered to accommodate the request. Not cheep, but good value.

I went here after being told it was the best restaurant in town, to be honest I was disappointed, especially after reading about how the chef had worked in chapter one and Waterford castle which are both top class. There is not a great selection on the menu, I got scallops for starter with the beef main course and the blood orange tart for dessert. My starter was very good but my partners scallops seemed a little undercooked
