Welcome to The Súgán Hostel, located in the heart of Killarney, County Kerry, Ireland – less than 2 minutes walk from the bus and rail stations and less than 20 metres from the Kerry Airport Shuttle bus drop off point. We are renowned for our warmth and friendliness and we will ensure your stay in Killarney is pleasant, comfortable and especially memorable. The property has recently been taken over by local man Ollie Favier, and we have an amazing team in place to look after you during your stay with us. Check in is done through The Shire Bar next door, which is a Lord Of The Rings themed bar. You will be greeted by Roger, Gary, Kevin or the 2 Shanes…. who we can assure you will make you feel welcome from the outset. Our property was built in 1795 and originally used as a home for estate workers of Lord Kenmare a local landlord. It now consists of 12 rooms and is situated in the heart of Killarney town. The property always has a cosy fire going all day and the warm and friendly staff are always on hand with help, information and tips to help you make the most of your holiday in Killarney. We are a backpackers-only property operating on a bed and breakfast basis. There is no drinking behaviour and strictly no smoking or alcohol drinking allowed in the property.
