This was a most enjoyable surprise. Lovely people, short wait, water and poppodums while we waited. Calm sense of purpose in a small space, but the food was delicious. Flavour and spices without overpowering the palate. They even lent us metal cutlery! Waterford, you lucky town! ☑️😋😄👍

What a fabulous little gem in the heart of Waterford. My family have been going here for meals out and takeaways for years and never once has it disappointed. The nicest staff who couldn’t do enough for you with the most incredible Indian food I have ever eaten, cooked right in front of you in the beautiful restaurant. If you’re in Waterford you have to pay them a visit! Enjoy, you’re welcome!

The staff at Café Goa is really kind and accommodating. The food however is not that great, but still ok. They modified a lot of Indian recipes to make it more suitable to local palates, rendering them slightly less authentic. For example, the korma tastes extremely sugary when it should not. I highly recommend this place for big groups, and for the kindness of the staff, but not if you’re looking to eat an authentic Indian meal. Practical info: the food is halal.
